Uso de la fijación externa en el tratamiento de las fracturas de pelvis

Resumen

El objetivo de nuestro trabajo es llevar a cabo una revisión bibliográfica sobre las fracturas de pelvis, centrándonos principalmente en el uso de la fijación externa para el tratamiento de las fracturas de pelvis en el contexto de urgencias. El principal problema con el que se encuentra el cirujano ortopédico, en el tratamiento de urgencias de las fracturas de pelvis de alta energía, es con la necesidad de realizar un tratamiento quirúrgico rápido, pero que sea lo suficientemente estable para mantener una reducción hasta que el paciente pueda ser sometido a una intervención definitiva. Se han desarrollado múltiples métodos de fijación externa con el objetivo de dar respuesta a estas necesidades. Se llevará a cabo un análisis de las diferentes opciones, así como de los diferentes trabajos publicados.
